Our hearts are always open at the Hughesville Friends Church. We welcome you to find out more about this vibrant growing community of Christ. For nearly 100 years Hughesville Friends Church has provided Spiritual Enrichment, comfort, care, and hope to the community which we serve.
You will find here a variety of worship styles and opportunities to help you in your spiritual journey. Small groups, children's programs, youth ministry, and many other opportunities await you as you find a place here to worship.
Our Sunday morning service is a blended style service incorperating the best of the traditonal and contemporary worship styles. Our 6:00 evening service is a contemporary styled service with an expanded music and worship team and informal service style.
Small groups meet throughout the week serving to strengthen personal relationships, encourage, and uplift. These home groups help us to maintain a small church atmosphere within a larger church community.
Our heart as a church is to reach people where they are and engage them in a spiritual journey that leads to the cross of Christ. No need to check your brain at the door - we encourage you to think, challenge, ask questions and grow with us as we grow in Christ.
Our children's ministries serve to connect the entire family in a spiritual journey. AWANA kids club helps children to apply bibilical truths to everyday living. Children's church, Sunday School, and our Children's Praise Choir help kids to connect in a fun way to the message of the Gospel.
We at the Friends Church are driven by two scriptual principles.
1) That we should Love the Lord our God with all our heart and soul and mind and our neighbor as ourselves.
2) That we are charged to go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that Christ commanded.
